Congratulations to the 18 short films that have been selected. The schedule of films are listed below. Most if not all the filmmakers will be in attendance!

How it all works:
Each block of 6 films will be streamed live at http://VidCastNetwork.com, and then a Google+ Hangout will be streamed with the filmmakers in attendance for a question and answer session immediately following the films.

A moderator will field questions for the filmmakers via chat from the audience on VidCastNetwork. You will also be able to post your questions for the filmmakers on a comment thread located at the +Unofficial Google+ Film Festival page.
In order to participate in the chat on VidCastNetwork, you will need to create a free account at VidCastNetwork.com (through Justin.tv).

At the end of each hour, 6 new films will be shown with the new filmmakers in attendance.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. E.S.T., the Google+ Hangout will be opened to additional people and then the public.

mooshoo:

One of the neat little things about being one of the editors of Tumblr’s film section is that I’m e-mailed daily by directors and producers who want me to plug their projects. While I think that the gesture is great, most of the stuff I’ve been sent thus far hasn’t really been worthy of plugging.

That changed today.

This morning I received an e-mail from Darren Miller asking me to watch ‘Charlie on Parole,’ which is this fantastic short film starring the always hilarious TJ Miller (Cloverfield, She’s Out of My League).

If you like the film, feel free to follow the guys that made it below:
