Watch TJ Miller's Sundance 2012 Short Film
thecomedybureau:
TJ Miller made a short for Sundance called “I’m Having a Difficult Time Killing My Parents”. It’s funny, absurd, and also sincere and touching much like another short film he was in Charlie on Parole. Do you feel guilty now judging him for being in Yogi Bear? Do ya?
THAT’S US THERE IN THE CAPTION!!
ALSO WATCH THIS IT’S AMAZING!!
HOORAY!!

GW Rough Cut Screening
We held a rough-cut screening event at GWU last night. It was the first time all of “On Parole” was shown to the public. The event was a success, because we say so. Also because we raised a lot of money for post production, and everyone seemed to have a great time and actually enjoy the movie. These are all good things. So, success. We are headed back into the editing room to keep working...

That's a WRAP!
Our final weekend of shooting is done!
Holy MOLY everyone! What a weekend!
The last few days have been about 15 hours long. Exhausting, but wonderful. I’ve written a lot about shooting on set so far, but there’s a lot more that goes on before and after that may be a lot rougher than what happens before the AD yells “action” and a director yells “cut”. For example, the first time this...

TJ On Letterman!
TJ Miller, start of “On Parole,” was a guest on The Late Show with David Letterman last night for his role in the hit movie, Cloverfield!
Production Blog Day 2
I have successfully caught up on sleep since our all night shoot this past Monday morning. After setting up at about 1:00am at a restaurant/bar in Manhattan, we shot for the next seven hours. Hopped up on way too much coffee and red bull, the cast and crew maintained the great form we took just hours before. Setup, logistics, camera, lighting, sound, set, costumes, script, and even extras...
Production Blog Day 1
Today was our first production day for “On Parole.” Technically, in about an hour, day two begins at 1:00am. But one thing at a time.
We beat the sun to a Brooklyn diner early this morning and finally began production. From actors to grips to PA’s, everyone was on their game. The shoot went as well as it possibly could have – better even, if that’s logically and logistically possible. ...
Facebook Event
We started a facebook event to try to raise awareness about donations. Check it out here.
Home Stretch!
We now have an official final shooting script, and our shooting schedule has been finalized as well! All roles are cast; everything is set except capital. ALL we need now, is some more financial support. Please check out our donation page and consider donating. Every bit counts!
